Jerez race winner Dani Pedrosa has maintained his form by topping Friday’s first practice session for the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France. In completely dry conditions, the Repsol Honda Team rider led Yamaha Factory Racing duo Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.

Jorge Lorenzo has led the first practice session ahead of the Gran Premio bwin de España. The reigning MotoGP™ World Champion moved ahead of Dani Pedrosa on his final lap, beating his compatriot by the narrow margin of three thousandths of a second. Lorenzo’s teammate Valentino Rossi completed the top three.
