EICMA 2023: Who’s Going?

As a newsie gal, I have a specific routine: Work out, grab a coffee on the way to the office, login and take a sip as proverbial fingers are dipped into streams of intel.

Deal of the Week: Performance Riding Jackets Up to 68% Off

Next to your helmet, your jacket’s probably the most important piece of protective gear you own—so you’ll want to make sure you’ve got a good one (or two, or three… hey, who’s counting?). Church Of MO: First Impression: 1996 Honda Rebel 250

The Honda Rebel 250 is probably the bike many of us rode when we were taking our Basic Rider Course. Even though I didn’t know what I was doing back then, when I rode the bike while trying to get my license, I could still tell it was a bit of a turd. A lack of experience meant I couldn’t put my finger on exactly why, though I chalked it up to being used and abused after having gone through the hands of many new riders.

RevZilla’s 2023 Sturgis ADV Rally, The Black Hills BDR-X Combine For a Win!

“Third time’s the charm” was the case last week when charmed I was while attending RevZilla’s GET ON! Adventure Fest Sturgis!  Is it pompous to crow about being an “OG GOAF Sturgis member”?  Yep, I was there at the original 2021 GET ON! Sturgis event and after this the 2023 edition I’m a perfect 3 for 3 for attendance.  I plan on extending my streak indefinitely if I can manage it because this rally is getting better each time.

2023 Honda Rebel 1100 Buyer’s Guide

The 2023 Rebel 1100 in Iridium Gray Metallic. This is the six-speed manual version. Tweaked and modified to suit the cruiser vibe, the Rebel’s engine has unique engine mapping, a 20 percent larger flywheel for increased inertia, and revised camshaft profiles that give what Honda calls “power pulses,” as though to further mimic the feel of a V-twin.
